I am charging my camera for my girls weekend /weddings this weekend and found some fun pictures and thought I would update.

 After hunting for Easter Baskets- He didn't feel too well if you can't tell?

 Jared was playing the piano at church for fun and all these girls were around the piano watching him and telling him what a great job he was doing- haha as soon as I got the camera they of course had their attention else where.

We went to a River Cats game on Memorial Day- I was a blast we got to go with friends the Lungren's in one of the booths/suites. It was nice and way fun! Thanks Lungren's for inviting us along

The Flying Mattress

Work was slow on Friday- WAY Slow so Jared and I spent the day in between phone calls and emails on Craigslist. I LOVE that website. Well we found a KILLER deal on a King Size Mattress for $100 in excellent condition. So we found a friend who had a truck and went to pick it up after work. On the way back we thought we had tied it down good enough but the wind caught it and it blew out onto the freeway with all the other work hour traffic vehicles. THANKFULLY it landed on the bottom side of the mattress and skidding to the shoulder. No cars hit it and it was perfectly ok.I was so thankful that no accidents happened and that the plush pillow top was not the part that skidded across the freeway :) I still laugh really hard when I think about it. I was driving behind Jared in the truck and was honking like crazy once I saw it was going out- I was also really sad because i thought for sure the mattress was gone and someone was gonna hit it. We are excited to have a King Mattress- now we just need to find a place to move into. YAY!

Crazy Weekend

Our weekend has been very exciting. We had stake conference- mainly because our stake presidency was getting released. And in relation to that big event Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve and Elder Whiting of the Seventy came out to preside and set apart the new presidency. I purposely decided to sing in the choir so I could sit in the comfy seats on the stand and be next to the apostle. Which worked out perfect I sat directly behind him! But what was even cooler is that my dad got called into the new stake presidency and we got to meet and mingle with An Apostle of the Lord. It was a very spiritual weekend to say the least!
My calling in our church is in the Primary Presidency which i love. At the end of the meeting Elder Christofferson invited all the little children and youth to come up because he wanted to meet them and shake their hands. Since I sat right behind him I decided to stay up there a little longer and watch all the children go through. Once I saw the first child come running up so excited to meeting the Apostle of the Lord My emotions got the better of me and I sobbed. The more the kids came through the worse it got so I only lasted about 20 kids and then I had to get off the stand. I think Primary has cursed me- I have this super sensitive emotion when it comes to the little ones they are so pure... My brother and Sister In Law were able to fly out early Sunday Morning ( when we got the news that my dad was called) for the Sunday Morning Session. I got to feel my little Niece kick in Gracie's belly and I cried a little, It was pretty cool... Luckily their flight was cancelled so they get to spend one more night with us so I can rub the belly More- Haha creeper sister-in law.

The weekend was amazing- and i feel very spiritually full.
We hit a milestone this week and paid off all our undergrad student loans!!! YAY It felt so good!  Now we have to begin to prepare for the Dental Application Expenses- Ewww.
There is light at the end of the tunnel as we begin to come to the end of the busy season at work so we have started to plan our summer vacation to Washington to do some camping and visit friends and family and see new babies ( BABY Q)
We have also began to look at apartments and it is exciting! I have missed having my own place- we are SO SO SO appreciative of my parents and their huge generous hearts for giving us so much! We just miss being the married grown ups. I also miss my crock-pot :)
I have begun my training for the Ragnar Relay Race that I will be running in September and so far so good. My body is trying to get used to running since I NEVER run and strongly dislike it. I just put in some good tunes and then it is bearable.
